B&B Cas al Cubo Tavira, offers individual walking holidays in the Eastern Algarve In the Autumn (September, October and November and in the Spring (February, March and April).
An individual walking holiday in the Eastern Algarve means that you book a walking programme completely tailored to your wishes with walks that suit your requirements. You will stay at B&B Cas al Cubo, a comfortable bed and breakfast in the Eastern Algarve, not far from Faro airport. The B&B is situated in the middle of the most beautiful walking area of the Algarve. This walking holiday in the Algarve is the answer to your dreams.
The Algarve might not be the first location associated with a walking holiday. To summarize the charm of this beautiful area in one sentence; it’s calmness, it’s paths are not well trodden and sometimes you may feel as if you’re the only one in the whole world who has discovered these beautiful places. There is really something to discover in the Algarve; we offer a self-guided yet organised walking holiday that will keep you completely rested and free from everyday worries.
The individual is important to us. One person may like to take a brisk walk through the endless hills for up to 13 miles a day, someone else may enjoy 5 easier miles with coffee or a lunch in a nice restaurant in between; yet still someone else won’t be able to get enough of the coastline and the sea. We can cater for everyone. It is also possible to combine your walking holiday with visits to our lovely traditional villages inland and on the coast with a nice day of golf or even a day trip to the stunning city of Seville in Spain. All is possible at B&B Cas al Cubo.
Together we can organise your trip. If the walk of your choice does not pass a restaurant, we can make sure that you have a tasty lunch package for a nice picnic in the middle of nature. Every night you return to your comfortable B&B so no dragging round suitcases and bags. Spend every night in your own comfortable bed and in the evening you can do some stargazing from your terrace or cuddle up on the sofa in front of the fire with a good book.
The Algarve is a fantastic area for a walking holiday. Spring starts at the end of January on the Algarve when the Almond trees show their first fragile flowers on the still barren branches. The valleys start colouring yellow; the first wild orchids carefully open their flowers and the temperature creeps up to a nice 20ºC on a sunny day. The Eastern Algarve is covered with a network of small paths and tracks that have been used for centuries by farmers and traders to get from village to village. The walking routes are usually not in a great condition so we have all routes tracked with a GPS device that is easy enough to handle. This way, it is impossible to get lost and you can enjoy your nature walk to its fullest in spite of not knowing where you are. Walking in the Algarve becomes pure, relaxed enjoyment.
